IMSS Library Database

The IMSS database includes the library catalogue, the books on order, the Italian Bibliography for the History of Science, the International Galilean Bibliography , the catalogue of the Museum's scientific instruments, the archive (which contains also the archive of the Royal Museum of Physics and Natural History, Florence, the Congresses of Italian Scientists archive, the historical photo collections, the Galilean Collection of the National Central Library of Florence) and more. It consists of about 255,000 records related to monographs, periodicals, single essays in miscellaneous works, journal articles, book reviews and also archival collections, series and files. About 12,000 printed texts or manuscripts can be downloaded from the database.
